QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Candidate must have adequate acceptable publications locally and internationally with distinctive academic quality, originality and contribution to knowledge. The candidate must be willing to initiate and develop courses at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels and be able to supervise Postgraduate students in his/her areas of specialization. Minimum of fifteen (15) years Post Qualification teaching Experience in University or related tertiary Institution and adequate years of Administrative Experience. Registration with Professional body where applicable is compulsory.
Associate Professor: The candidate must have been a Senior Lecturer for at least three (3) years with a Ph.D. degree in the area specified and evidence of highly scholarly productivity with nothing less than ten (10) years of Teaching and Research Experience in a University. The candidate must be willing to initiate and develop courses at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels and be able to supervise Postgraduate students in his / her areas of specialization. Candidate must have adequate acceptable publications locally and internationally with distinctive academic quality, originality and contribution to knowledge. He/she must have adequate administrative years of experience. Registration with Professional body where applicable is compulsory.

Note: For Law Programme

He /she must have the ability to teach courses at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level with adequate Research experience and ability to supervise Postgraduate students. Registration with Professional body where applicable is compulsory.

Lecturer I: The candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in relevant field with adequate and acceptable publications with distinctive academic quality, originality and contribution to knowledge. Candidate must have a minimum of three (3) years teaching experience with ability to initiate and supervise Research Programmes at the undergraduate level. Candidates must be Computer Literate and have a good understanding of ICT Application to Library Functions. Candidates must possess Diploma in Library Studies obtained from a recognized University. Candidates must also possess Credit in five (5) Subjects including English Language at the GCE/SSCE or equivalent. Computer literacy and knowledge / application of ICT to the functions of the Library are essential requirements.

LIBRARY ASSISTANT (CONTISS 03)
Candidates for this position must possess SSCE/GCE O’ Level with Credit in five (05) subjects including English Language. Computer literacy and ability to communicate effectively would be an added advantage.

LIBRARY PORTER (CONTISS 03)
Candidates must possess at least WAEC/SSCE/GCE O’ Level or its equivalent with credit in four (4) subjects including English Language and must be Computer Literate. Experience as a Retired Police, Military or other Para-Military Personnel would be an advantage.

ASSISTANT TECHNICAL OFFICER (ICT) (CONTISS 05)
Candidates must possess National Diploma (ND) certificate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering with Practical Experience in Technical Support Service. Candidates must also possess Credit in five (5) Subjects including English Language. Possession of any Information Technology (IT) Certification and knowledge of LINUX will be an added advantage. Horticulturist II – CONTISS 07
Possession of Higher National Diploma in Horticulture or other allied Diploma from a recognized institution with a minimum of Lower Credit. Computer Literacy and knowledge of Application of ICT would be added advantage.

Draughtsman – CONTISS 04
Candidates should possess Trade Certificate obtained from a Government Trade Centre or any other approved Institution. Candidates should also possess in addition to the above SSCE/GCE ‘O’Level with Credit in five (5) Subjects including English Language and Mathematics. Computer Literacy and ability to communicate effectively would be added advantage.

Chief Security Officer – CONTISS 13
Possession of good first degree in relevant discipline obtained from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in relevant discipline with fifteen (15) years cognate experience. Candidates must be computer literate.

Security Officer II – CONTISS 07
Possession of a honours degree in relevant discipline obtained from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in relevant discipline. Experience in the Armed Forces will be an added advantage. Candidates must be computer literate.

Patrolmen – CONTISS 2
Candidates must possess SSCE/GCE or equivalent with at least Credit in three (3) Subjects at one sitting or five (5) subjects at two (2) sittings with one of them in English Language.
