Adexen Nigeria is hiring for a client – a leading construction company specialized on large Civil Works with substantial global projects.

The Company is looking urgently for qualified profiles to fill the following positions:

Site Safety Officer
Land Surveyor
Mason Supervisors
Plasterer Supervisors
Carpenter Supervisors
Plumbing Supervisors

All positions are based in Lagos.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The candidates will work on the following projects:

· buildings

· roads

· fences

· drainage pipelines

· appurtenant structures

RESPONSIBILITIES

Typical duties will include:

· Manage and coordinate daily project activities and ensures policies and procedures are followed by all staff and non-staff employees

· Full supervision of trade activities

· Assist in the identification, control, and elimination of unsafe acts and unsafe conditions

· Conduct on-site inspections of construction projects a to ensure compliance with established company standards

· Prepare written reports

· Maintain record keeping for the project

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

· B.S. or equivalent degree in Engineering

· Minimum 2 years relevant experience in the construction industry in a similar position

· Additional training and certification specific in HSE is a plus

· Experience of large civil construction projects

· Fully conversant with standards, recommended practices and regulations and their application to similar projects

· Ability to work in multicultural environment and under pressure
