Job Title: Application Software Development Officer

Job Description: This position is responsible for business requirements definition for new solutions.

It is responsible for designing, developing and testing new applications.

He/she works with other stakeholders to analyse, develop and adopt new software applications.

Job Requirements: Sc. computer science, engineering, math or related subjects or equivalent, minimum of 2.2, with at least 3 years’ experience in applications development, documentation, testing and deployment.

Knowledge of following technologies is essential:

1. Deep knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
2. Deep understanding of software development with the use of various frameworks such as MVC, JSF.

• Deep knowledge of any of the following RDBMS – Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL.

1. Hands-on knowledge of .Net and Java or PHP
2. Ability to develop mobile applications is key requirement for this position

Knowledge of any of following technologies is desirable:

1. Very good knowledge of Windows OS
2. Knowledge of Linux OS is desirable

• Knowledge of Accounting is desirable

Qualification in any of the following certifications is essential:

1. ITIL
2. Prince2 or PMP
