Job Description:

SUPERVISOR:

· Supervise and train personnel in the safe dismantling and erection of scaffold.

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

· Supervise and lead scaffold builders for the erection and dismantling of scaffolds

· Regular verify the safety of erected scaffolding

· Develop safe work practices related to scaffolding

· Develop estimates for scaffolding erection and dismantling

TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Shall inspect and certify all types of scaffold including light and heavy duty scaffolds in line with MPN Scaffold Inspection Safety Checklist.

· Able to identify faults and provide / supervise the recommended action for correction on the spot.

· Shall inspect and approve scaffolding materials before use.

· Shall provide material estimates on demand.

· Able to interpret simple drawings.

· Confident and able to work under pressure

· Shall review and recommend for approval all scaffold work procedures as provided by contractors

· Shall provide scaffold appreciation training program on demand.

· Report all incidents, near miss, unsafe acts / conditions.

· Willing to work 28/28 or 14/14 rotation of 7 days per week 12 hours per day.

· Have affinity or able to work at height

· Ability to use computer.

· ND or HND in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

· CITB / CISRS Advanced Scaffolder with Registered Card Number.

· CITB Advanced Scaffold Inspection Safety Certificate.

· Must Have at Least 10 years Scaffolding Experience,

· Have Basic Knowledge in Designing of Conventional and System Scaffolds to BS 5973 / EN 12811-1 Standard,

· Have Basic Knowledge in Training to BS 5973 / En 12811-1 Standard,

· Basic Offshore Survival Certificate Opito Approved & Registered,

· Certificate of Medical Fitness for Offshore Employment,
