Job description

Maintain an efficient fire or deck watch as required.

Ensure all decks and store rooms are maintained in a safe and secure condition at all times.

Ensure the cleanliness of work areas and that all work is performed and all equipment operated in a safe and efficient manner.

Assist in the first line maintenance of lifting appliances, cranes, running gear, slings, shackles etc.

Assist with tank work as required

Assist with lifting operations acting as banksman as required

Assist with cargo handling operations including operation of forklifts

Crew workboat and FRC as required

Carry out maintenance tasks in all areas including corrosion control by, sand and water blasting, spray painting etc Tank operations including tank entry, cleaning, removal of scale, valves, pipework etc. Machinery spaces assisting with rigging and lifting as required. Process Plant including assisting with lifting and rigging as required.

Attend and assist in helicopter landing, takeoffs and refuelling operations as required

Job requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND

Trained as helideck assistant
