We are recruiting to fill the following vacant positions:

Job Title: Practice Lead, GovLab
Location: 
Lagos

Job Information

  • Co-Creation Hub seeks an experienced individual with strong working knowledge of the Nigerian public sector to join our team to lead our GovLab Practice geared to support the development and roll out of initiatives to improve public service delivery, citizen engagement & social accountability in Nigeria through the smart application of technology.
  • The GovLab Lead will be CcHUB’s primary interface for government agencies, civil society and social innovators looking to improve the way citizens’ needs are met in Nigeria using technology.
  • Specific areas of interest in the Governance space include public service delivery, open government, open data, extractive industries transparency & local government efficiency.
  • This position requires a team player with leadership qualities, excellent marketing skills, a professional and positive attitude, organization and dependability.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities shall include the following :

  • Identify critical governance priorities for the unit & initiate activities to stimulate solutions around the priority areas
  • To plan, launch and manage innovation initiatives to deliver products to be utilised by government agencies, civil society & citizens to improve public service delivery & social accountability in Nigeria
  • Research key governance issues to identify critical leverage areas around which GovLab should engage stakeholders and citizens
  • Manage research & insights that drive solutions for the practice & its clients especially government agencies, civil society organisations & the general public
  • Overall planning of activities, resources , budgets and operations of the practice
  • Provide technical insights & networking support to governance ventures incubated at the CcHUB
  • Develop a mentor network for the practice across the public sector & civil society and work with them to support incubated ventures
  • Proactively identify engage & manage new partners with government, CSOs and donor agencies
  • Lead in developing proposals for new governance projects to local and international funding organisations
  • Work in coordination with senior management to set up a seed fund for governance ventures
  • Prepare all required reports and maintain a comprehensive set of records on all activities

Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A solid understanding of the Nigerian public sector with relationships to academia, government agencies, civil society, start-ups and the development partner community
  • A Bachelor’s or Masters’ Degree from an accredited university
  • Experience in civil society, a start­up or other business environment
  • A robust analytical skill set
  • Strong working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft applications
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • An entrepreneurial and innovative mind-set

 

Job Title: Team Lead, Digital Security (CcHUB)
Location: 
Lagos

Job Information

  • The Digital Security Team Lead will drive CcHUB’s effort to ensure safe use of the technologies used to improve quality of life for Nigerians.
  • The Team Lead will manage a network of digital security trainers, auditor, penetration testers and rapid responders spread across the country.

Your responsibilities shall include the following:

  • Lead the CcHub Digital Security team including planning of activities, resources, task allocation, budgets and operations
  • Liaise with clients particularly civil society organisations, journalists and startups to identify and meet their digital security needs
  • Build and manage a team of digital security trainers, auditors and rapid responders to support our target users
  • Develop and implement a quality assurance framework for CcHub’s digital security consultants
  • Lead research to build awareness around digital security threats that Nigerian users and organisations may be susceptible to and mitigation strategies
  • Liaise with the global internet freedom movement to understand trends that might have local implication for Nigerian organisations
  • Provide technical insights & digital security support to all startups incubated at the CcHub
  • Lead in developing proposals for new digital security projects to local and international funding organisations
  • Prospect for new opportunities to provide digital security support to clients
  • Prepare all required reports and maintain a comprehensive set of records on all activities
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by Senior Management

Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive information security experience and relevant industry-recognised security certification(s)
  • A Bachelor’s or Masters’ Degree from an accredited university
  • Experience providing digital security support to clients in a structured business environment
  • Ability to methodically analyze problems and identify solutions and communicate to non-technical audience
  • Good written and oral communications skills
  • Strong understanding of various web technologies and experience with application code review
  • An entrepreneurial and innovative mind-set

 

Job Title: Partnership Manager (CcHUB)
Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions

  • We are looking for an experienced Partnerships Manager to support the development and management of strategic partnerships for the CcHUB.
  • As Partnerships Manager, you will work as part of an innovative team to identify and negotiate new partnerships to help drive business objectives.
  • As the role also involves relationship management of existing strategic partners, you will identify and recommend opportunities to improve and extend these relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and negotiate new partnerships that contribute to revenue generation.
  • Manage all relationships with partners and clients and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of client needs and identify trends and opportunities, in order to develop plans that grow the scope and quality of our partnerships in line with our objectives.

Job Information

  • Are you an experienced game developer? Are you proficient in UNITY Technology? Do you have a practical understanding of object-oriented programming in UNITY using C#?
