Requirements
Category B Applicants
- Candidates must possess an MBBS and must have passed their Primary in the specified area of interest, either in National Postgraduate or West African Postgraduate College.
- Candidates must also possess an NYSC Discharge Certificate or Letter of Exemption.
Category C Applicants
Pharmacists
- Candidates must possess a recognized degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) or its equivalent from a reputable university in Nigeria or abroad.
- Candidate should also be a registered member of the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria, and should possess an NYSC Discharge Certificate or Letter of Exemption
Physiotherapists
- Candidates must possess a BSc. Physiotherapy or equivalent professional qualification, with a membership certificate of the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria.
Occupational Therapists
- Candidates must possess a BSc. Physiotherapy or equivalent professional qualification, with a membership certificate of the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria.
Staff Nurses/Midwives
- Candidates must possess RN/RM with not more than six years post qualification experience, with a current nursing license.
Specialist Nurses
- Candidates must possess the qualifications as stated above, with a recognized certificate in appropriate specialty.
Principal, School of Nursing
- In addition to the Nursing Certificate, the candidate for Principal shall also possess Nurse Tutor Certificates with not less than ten (10) years cognate experience.
Principal, School of Midwifery
- In addition to the Midwifery Certificate, the candidate for Principal shall also possess Midwifery Tutor Certificates with not less than ten (10) years cognate experience.
Health Information Officers (Medical Record)
- Candidates must possess a BSc. or HND in Medical Information Management and registered with the Council.
- Candidate must be computer-literate.
Radiographers
- Candidates must possess a Diploma of the Society of Radiographers (DSR), Certificate of Membership of Radiographers, Bachelors Degree in Radiography (B.Rad) and registered with the RRGN.
Pharmacy Technicians
- Candidates must undergo a three year training at a recognised School of Health Technology and registered with Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
Craftsmen
- Candidates must possess a FSLC orTrade Test II in the appropriate trade.
Morticians
- Candidates must undergo a three-year training with a recognized Morticians Certificate.
Mortuary Attendants
- Candidates must possess a FSLC.
Health Record Technicians
- Candidates must possess an OND in Medical Information Management or its equivalent and licensed by the Health Records Officer Registration Board of Nigeria; and must be computer literate.
Biomedical Technicians
- Candidates must possess an OND in Biomedical Engineering from a reputable institution.
Health Attendants/Porters/Ward Orderlies
- Candidates must possess at least a FSLC. Community Health Extension Workers (CHEW) SHOULD NOT apply
