Vacancies in Nigeria

Petrocarbon Engineering Limited, a UK based  company is seeking for candidates to train on Finite Element Analysis Software (Ansys).  The Training is based in Nigeria. Petrocarbon Engineering Limited is an independent firm established in 1997 to provide Offshore & Subsea project design and analysis services to the oil and gas industry. Our training and manpower development branch was created in response to the demand for capacity building and higher technical competency in the oil and gas industry.

Following the Nigerian Local Content requirements for oil and gas training to be done indigenously,  Petrocarbon Engineering Limited, based in United Kingdom, is providing this software training service in Nigeria.

FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS SOFTWARE (ANSYS) TRAINING

About The Training
This training gives a comprehensive understanding of how to use ANSYS as a package to solve simple and complex problems using the Finite Element Method. Finite Element Method (FEM) is a mathematical technique used to obtain approximate solutions to complex problems that cannot be solved using basic theories. The application of FEM to the analysis of engineering problems is called Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

This training course teaches how to effectively use ANSYS Mechanical to build a simulation model, analyze it and interpret the results. During the course of this training, participants will understand the underlying principle behind using the FEA in solving engineering problems and how it is done. As we will be using ANSYS, before the end of the training, participants will be able to solve various problems with ANSYS software and will be engaged in various extensive hands-on workshops.

Our courses are prepared and facilitated by practising engineers with strong research proficiency and industry experience. All course notes are professionally produced and we take on board feedback and continually invest in our courses, ensuring up-to-date course content.

WHO WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS COURSE?

This course will be of great benefit to experienced professionals in the oil and gas industry working in areas related to structural, thermal, mechanical, modal, linear buckling analysis, etc. (mostly of pipes and other offshore structures). The training would also be very useful to post-graduate engineering students and oil and gas industry enthusiasts with a desire to work in the offshore structural design and analysis field.
