The company seeks to employ Head of Assessments to be based in Lagos Nigeria, he or she will be reporting to the Managing Director and will be placed at Job Level 4

Purpose of the Job:

Responsible for verifying compliance and assessment of management systems of suppliers/ contractors who provide a service to the oil and gas industry.

Key Job Responsibilities

The prequalification of suppliers within the oil and gas industry and to lead a team of assessors.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Minimum)
  • HSE certification
  • Lead Assessor Certification (via examination)
  • Membership of a relevant professional institution

Desirable Job Skills

  • Integrity, confidentiality and transparency
  • Report writing skills
  • Awareness of supply chain activities in the oil and gas industry
  • Awareness of the international standards within the oil and gas industry
  • Experience in the delivery of Assessment/ Audits
  • Costumer focused and service oriented
  • PC skills, including MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc

Person specification

The post holder will require 10 years experience, good management skills and the ability to lead a team of Assessors.

The post holder will be based at Lagos but may frequently have to travel to the oil field regions  in the country.
