HUMAN RESOURCES

JOB REFERENCE: REC’11
POSITION: RECEPTIONIST

JOB SPECIFICATION: First line employee that visitors interact with.
Responsible for welcoming visitors to the company, determining the nature
and purpose of visit and directing along established guidelines,
authorized visitors to the appropriate quarters. Keeps an electronic log of
correspondence to the company. Deals with internal inquiries on the phone,
makes sure that all visitors fill the visitors’ register, keeps track of all who
enter the company and maintains decorum in the reception.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of OND and at least five
O‘Level Credits, including Mathematics & English at not more than two sittings.

THE PERSON: Must be confident with good
organizational ability and ability to multitask. Must be friendly and possess
good communication, presentation and language skills. Basic use of the
computer and its applications is necessary.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years relevant experience.

POSITION: TALENT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

THE JOB: Develop policy, process and initiatives to meet company’s
aspirations on talent attraction, retention and management, career planning
and development, succession planning and executive management development in
line with the talent/learning and development strategies. Identify critical
jobs for optimal business performance.  Assesses talent readiness and translate
to talent development plan.

QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree. Possession of a Master’s degree and / or
Professional certification would be an advantage.

THE PERSON: The successful candidate must have exceptional interpersonal,
leadership and communication skills, have a solid sense of confidentiality and
discretion, be able to develop and maintain highly effective relationship externally
and internally and be able to operate individually and employ solid decision making
skills.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 7 years working experience in a similar role
with hands on knowledge of talent management tools.

ACCOUNTS

JOB REFERENCE: SFA 11
POSITION: SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

THE JOB: Reports to the Manger, Budget and Planning. The successful candidate is responsible for modeling and running the annual operating plan, monitoring
and reporting CAPEX and other project costing, dealing with mergers and acquisitions,
identifying and designing process improvement activities and working with the financial
accounting team on quarterly and annual reports.

QUALIFICATION: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

THE PERSON: The successful candidate must be conversant with Microsoft
Excel package and financial analysis/modelling tools, be an effective
communicator with good planning, organizational and problem solving skills.
Must be a good team player and have excellent work ethics.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required.

GOLDEN SHIPPING
JOB REFERENCE: REF.SOP 11
POSITION: SHIPPING OPERATIONS MANAGER

THE JOB: Reports to the Deputy Managing Director. Performs and
deals with day to day operations in an efficient and timely manner, minimizing operational
costs and controlling vessel efficiency to ensure that the overall performance is in
line with the company’s expectations. Ensures discharge sequence is in line with IMO
[International Maritime Organisation] rules and regulations; coordinate ship surveys
and reports appropriately.

QUALIFICATION: To be shortlisted for this role, you should be a Class 1 Master
Mariner Certificate of competency holder and have shore based experience in operational
management position of not less than 7 years.

THE PERSON: Must have a good knowledge of port and shipping operations,
be conversant with vessels inward and outward clearance with relevant maritime
agencies in Nigeria. Must be a good team player and have good interpersonal and
leadership skills.

JOB REFERENCE: WOM 11
POSITION: WHEAT OPERATIONS MANAGER

THE JOB: Reports to the Flour Operations Director, manages the handling
of bulk wheat from ship discharge to supply in the mills and from bulk loading
to varied demands in volume and specifications. Maintains high standards of
hygiene, housekeeping and operational efficiency within the wheat transfer system
and head house facility. Enhances and develops skills of his team, identifies
relevant competency training gaps and follow through with the required training.
Manages the daily reconciliation of stocks and works with agreed key measurement
criteria within the company.

QUALIFICATION: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

THE PERSON: The person should be self confident with excellent
interpersonal skills, must be an effective team player, proactive and physically fit.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years working experience in an automated
fast moving and continuous (24/7) production environment. Computer literacy with
experience in using PLC operating system is also necessary
