• Candidate must possess a Degree in Veterinary Medicine and must have been registered by the Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN).

d.) Livestock Officers – GL 08

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Degree in Animal Science, Animal Husbandry/Animal Production, Agriculture or Range Management from recognised Institutions.

e.) Registrar Of Crops Society- GL 08

Requirements

• Candidate who is legally qualified to practice as Barrister, and Solicitor in Nigeria

f.) Irrigation Engineers – GL 08

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Degree in Irrigation, Agricultural Science, Agricultural Engineering or Civil Engineering, from a recognised University

3.) Ministry Of Works, Housing and Transport

a.) Civil Engineer – GL 08

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Degree in Civil Engineering or such other qualifications registrable with the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN).

b.) Electrical Engineer – GL 08

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications registrable with the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN)

c.) Mechanical Engineer – GL 08

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field registrable with the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN)

d.) Building Officer – GL 08

Requirements

Candidate must possess any of the following qualifications or their equivalents provisionally registrable with the Council of Registered Building of Nigeria (CORBAN).

• A Degree in Building or Building Technology from a recognised University
• A pass in the Final Part II Examination of the Nigerian Institution of Builders
• A pass In the Final Part II Examination of the Chartered Institute of Builders of England

e.) Architect GRApe II – GL 08

Requirements

Candidate must possess any of the following qualifications or their equivalents registrable with Architects Council of Nigeria (ACON).

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Architecture obtained from a University recognised by the Architects Council of Nigeria (ACON)
• A pass In the Final I Examination of Nigerian institute of Architects (NIA)
• A pass In the Final I Examination of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA)

f.) Quantity Surveyor – GL 08

Requirements

Candidate must possess any of the following qualifications or their equivalents registrable with the Nigeria Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS)

• A Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised University
• A pass in the Final Examination of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors
• A pass in the Final Examination of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors

4.) Ministry Of Water Resources

a.) Water Engineer – GL 08

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Degree In Hydraulics Engineering or Civil Engineering bias towards Water Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent qualifications registrable with the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN).

5.) Ministry Of Resource Development

a.) Geologist – GL 09

Requirements

Candidate must possess any of the following qualifications:

• A Degree in Geology, Mining or Exploratory Geology or Geology with Elementary Topographical Surveying as a subsidiary subject from a recognised University.
• A Degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Geochemistry from a recognised University.

b.) Scientific Officer Grade II – GL 08

Requirements

Candidate must possess a Degree from a recognised University in any of the following Disciplines

• Geology
• Geology with Mineralogy, Chemistry, Physics or Biology as subsidiary
• Mining Geology with Statistics or Mathematics as subsidiary
• Metrology
• Ore Dressing
• Geo-Physics

6.) Ministry of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning

a.) Accountant Grade II – GL 08

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Degree in Accountancy from a recognised University,

b.) Planning Officer – GL 08

Requirements

Candidate must possess any of the following qualifications.

• A Degree in Economics preferably with Statistics, Econometrics or Development Planning as a subject from a recognised University
• A Degree plus Postgraduate Diploma in Economic Planning or Economic Development or Project Preparation from a recognized University
• A Degree plus Postgraduate Diploma in Economic Planning or Economics Development or Project preferably from a recognized University

c.) Statistician – GL 08

Requirements

Candidate must possess any of the following qualifications.

• A degree in Statistics as a Special subject from a recognised University
• A degree from a recognised University in Social Science or Mathematics without Statistics plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Statistics
• A pass in the Final Examination of the Institute of Statisticians.

7.) Ministry Of Information Culture and Home Affairs

a.) Information Officer Grade – GL 08

• Candidate must possess a Degree preferably in Arts, Journalism, Social Sciences or English Language from a recognised University.

b.) Printing Officer II – GL 08

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Bachelors Degree in Printing Technology Graphic Arts or Engineering from a recognised University.

c.) Fire Officer II – 08

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a First Degree in Building, Mathematics or Electrical Engineering from a recognised University, who has passed the Prescribed competitive, Selection Examination and the appropriate Medical/Fitness test.

8.) Ministry for Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs

a.) Local Government Inspector – GL 08

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Degree in Local Government and Development Studies, or Degree in Social Sciences and Humanities from a recognised University

• Candidate must possess a degree in Pharmacy registrable with the Pharmacists Registration Board of Nigeria.
