Procurement Manager: Pro health Recruitment

Pro-Health International is a Christian, non-profit voluntary health care organization with a focus on uplifting the health status of the less privileged, neglected rural populace in Africa. Since its inceptio, Pro-Health International (PHI) has been involved in over 170 periodic short- term (1-2 weeks in duration) healthcare outreaches Nigeria, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Zambia, The Gambia, Mali, Niger, Burundi and Malawi

Applications are invited for PROCUREMENT MANAGER to be based in Jos Nigeria

The ideal applicants must:

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in any of the Social Sciences;

• Be a committed and fervently God-fearing person of proven integrity, honesty and accountability;

• Have 5-10 years post-NYSC experience in procurement management:

• Be a member of a relevant professional bodies;

• Be conversant with PEPFAR/USAID reporting and I other requirements;

• Have sound knowledge of the procurement processes, law of I contracts, negotiation skills, the ability to write bids, specifications and contracts and to establish and maintain effective relationships;

• Have sufficient experience in grant-supported projects; Be computer literate with working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel; Have strong organizational skills, ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines; Be willing to work irregular hours; Knowledge of accounting and/or a postgraduate qualification in the relevant field will be added advantages.
