Job Title: IT Business Analyst
Location:

Job Description

  • This position acts as a consultant to and partners with the business to identify and document business requirements, estimate tasks and timelines, and execute project deliverables.
  • The role will actively participate in business process improvements and system implementation projects, primarily as a subject matter expert.
  • Work collaboratively with client’s business units to define business requirements and provide consultative support as needed regarding applications and business work flow.
  • Prepare business and functional requirements documents and all other required documentation for standard & non-standard Software Development Lifecycle Process.
  • Create project artifacts to include project charter, project plan, communication plan and risk register
  • Develop business requirements and/or functional designs for new or existing applications
  • Create business process diagrams in support of application requirements gathering and process improvement
  • Develop Request for Proposals (RFP’s) or other procurement documents, meet with potential vendors, produce evaluation matrix’s and lead project teams through solution analysis

Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or equivalent experience required
  • 7+ years’ experience in a business environment, with experience managing IT projects.
  • A PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project.
  • Knowledge of BPMN 2.0
  • 3-5 years business or systems analysis experience required

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with SharePoint or similar cloud alternative solutions to manage project artifacts and progress
  • Understanding of IT industry trends and tools
  • Role requires extensive travel.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Well-organized with the ability to work independently while still being a team player
  • Experience with Vendor management
  • Knowledge of PMI’s Project Management methodology; PMP certification a plus

Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location:
Lagos
Job Description

  • We seek an experienced Senior IT Projects Manager with at least 7 years of IT Projects Management experience in medium and large projects and at least 10 years of overall IT experience.
  • The person we seek must have experience using project scheduling software to manage multiple projects’ schedules in parallel, as well as experience in executing projects within a PMO environment, and using structured methodologies like Waterfall.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management or related field of study with at least 5 years of related experience as a project manager with small, medium and large projects and at least 10 years of overall IT experience.
  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience supporting projects related to Application Development, Web Based and/or (Custom-off-the-shelf) COTS implementations.
  • Expertise in defining project scope and objectives while involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ability to build relationships with all levels of senior management as well as cross functional team members to ensure an understanding of business goals, requirements, and deliverables
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project.
  • Experience in Innotas PPM tool
  • PMP or similar Certification required.
  • Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Methodology is fundamental

Required Skills:

  • The environment is one of high pressure; high stakes projects delivery with tight timelines and the Project Manager we seek must be able to provide resolution to a diverse range of complex problems. In addition, the right candidate must have-
  • Experience managing outsourced vendor engagements, including negotiation skills.
  • Must be able to participate in and lead Strategic Planning sessions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong initiative and follow up skills.
  • Must hold Operational Budgeting experience.
  • Must have strong project / team leadership skills.
