Position Details:
Job Summary
- The Project Manager has overall project responsibility
- Work closely with the Project Sponsor to ensure project completion is timely, within
budget, and meeting the quality criteria and requirements
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing and leading the project team as well as recruiting project
staff and consultants
- Manage the co-ordination of consultants and working groups engaged on client
project
- Carry out detailed project planning and control including developing and maintaining
a detailed project plan, and managing project deliverables in line with the project
planRecord and manage project issues and escalate to Program Manager or Project
Sponsor where necessary.
- Resolve cross-functional issues at project level.
- Manage project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary
- Monitor and report on project progress and performance and provide status reports to
the project sponsor
- Managing project training within the defined budget
- Liaison with, and updates progress to, project steering board/senior management
- Manage project evaluation and dissemination activities
- Manage consultants input within the defined budget
- Work closely with users to ensure the project meets business needs.
- Define and manage the User Acceptance Testing programme.
- Identify user training needs, devise and manage user training programmes
- Obtain client sign off on close out documents on completion of a project
- Ensure relevant project related documents are filed and well stored
- Transfer project related documents to the Service Delivery support team on
completion of a Project

- 4 – 6 years experience with about 2 years in a Senior Project team member/ Project
