Punch Newspapers are the publishers of Nigeria’s most widely read newspapers. Punch Newspapers has a strong online presence, with an electronic paper (e-Punch). There is also Mobile Punch that delivers the print edition to your mobile phone daily. Punch Nigeria Limited, publisher of The PUNCH, Saturday PUNCH and Sunday PUNCH titles, has vacancies for a few serious-minded graduate trainees who will be absorbed into its workforce as correspondents on completion of a three-month training.

Requirements

  • Candidates should have a minimum of a first degree (Second Class Upper Division) in Sciences, Humanities, Mass Communication or any of the Social Sciences.
  • He or she must however have a flair for writing.
  • Candidates with Second Class Lower Division who demonstrate a high skill in writing may be considered.
  • All candidates must have completed the One-year National Youth Service Corps Scheme.
  • Age: Preferably between 22 and 26 years.

Remuneration
An attractive allowance will be paid during the period of training. On completion of training, successful candidates will receive full salary and allowances in line with the company’s salary scale.
