Swift currently requires a Rotating Equipment Specialist to work rotationally (28×28) in Badagry (near Lagos) however a lot of travel will be involved to their regulating and metering stations. One years renewable contract.

Main Job Responsibilities:

Rotating Equipment Specialist who has skills in Maximo maintenance, planning and executing and warehouse management.
Align common PM’s (along with the intervals required) across the East and West Areas to maximize the use of manpower, remain in compliance, and obtain world class runtimes. Identify and combine common equipment associated with all PM’s (while working on a specific piece of equipment, include additional PMs on the associated equipment to minimize downtime).
Determine what stock items are required for WAPCo warehouses
Direct mentoring of CMMS/Warehouse specialists at LBCS entailing the development of PM content, warehouse inventory, timelines for PM’s, Purchasing, etc
Coordinate own work and work with other team members or contractors in performing daily operations and maintenance work processes. Act on own initiative to identify and correct work place hazards, unsafe practices, security violations or environmental concerns. May act as a field team liaison with Subject Matter Experts.
Ensure that overall system facilities are properly maintained and operated in accordance with Incident Free Operations principles and that work place hazards, unsafe practices, security violations and environmental concerns are identified and corrected. Obtain all necessary licenses and certificates pertaining to work performed.
Diagnose and determine the cause of pipeline system operational problems. Perform, or direct the performance of appropriate modifications to existing equipment and/or changes in operating parameters or practices to prevent or minimize future problems.
Provide off hours support to less experienced team members as needed.
Generate and maintain contracts and authorizations for materials and services.
Respond appropriately to station and line leaks or other emergency situations and assist other team members in conducting hypothetical drills.
