Position Title Senior Advisor (HIV/AIDS)
Location Nigeria
Daily Responsibilities The Senior Advisor (HIV/AIDS) will work with the Chief of Party, Director of Programs, and other Project staff to provide technical assistance to the Government of Nigeria, civil society organizations and community based institutions in the areas of program design, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation for HIV/AIDS programs including cross-cutting areas as gender and human rights. He/She will provide leadership to and manage the HIV/AIDS component of the project including overseeing the activities of Program Officers for HIV/AIDS and related activities.
Years of experience (min) 12+ years experience working with governmental or non-governmental, or international organizations in health programs, with at least five years in the area of HIV/AIDS.
Degree An advanced Degree in Medicine, MPH, epidemiology or a related field.
Skills A demonstrated understanding of the HIV/AIDS situation in Africa and in Nigeria.
In addition to the specific experience requirements outlined above, Senior Advisor and Program Officers will also demonstrate:

•Excellent leadership qualities.
•Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, presentation, organization and writing skills
•Computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
