Job description

ACTIVITIES

1.Report to the SPS Package Manager about HSE.

2.Report to the SPS Package Manager about efficiency and potential drifts on quality, planning and cost.

3.Supervise the Yard fabrication team and provide assistance to:

Promote safety on Contractor and Subcontractors Construction locations,

Verify constructability documents submitted by CONTRACTOR, and ensure compliance to the Contract requirements,

Supervise the works being carried out and be proactive on possible schedule and quality issues may arise

Participate, to any technical or co-ordination meeting between Contractor, Sub-Contractors and Third Parties (i.e. Installation Contractor, Marine Warranty Surveyor etc)

Communicate with COMPANY and provide a daily report of the activity,

Ensure mechanical completion, supervision al testing (i.e FAT, lifting test etc) and supervision load out and seafastening on to the installation Contractor vessel/barge.

4.Provide assistance to SPS Package Manager on dossiers related to Contractor Construction change orders requests and participate in CO negotiations.

Job requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND

Qualification: Degree level qualifications in an appropriate engineering discipline, plus relevant courses in Safety, quality control, planning and construction.

Professional Experience (number of years): 10+ years experience in jumpers fabrication works in yards and offshore installation works. Experience at a supervisory level / client representative at fabrication yard / offshore locations for a period of minimum 5 years is required.

Should be a Computer literate to prepare reports. Should also have good knowledge of industry engineering standards, quality control, safety and environment awareness and have good ability to interpret and review method statements, inspection and test plans, construction schedules and drawings.
