Job Title: Social Media/Digital Marketer
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description:

• We are looking for an incredible social media and marketing professional to help build our global brand and share our story with users, creators, partners, media, and more.
• You will have full ownership of this highly impactful division, so this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and entrepreneurial person who wants to work across several aspects of marketing.
• We are an early-stage startup business which implies you will have lots of freedom to work as well as plenty of guidance and input from the brilliant minds in our team.
• Compensation, in the form of a monthly retainer, will be commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Revitalize the company’s social media presence, including social media listening, creation and management of a content calendar (drafting, Canva design, and scheduling).
• Startup marketing function, including campaign strategy, design and execution across email, social media, PPC and retargeting campaigns for our UK Business.
• Define brand voice and positioning, build it through exceptional content including blogs, newsletters, copywriting for the company and profiles etc.
• Public relations/communications function, including drafting press releases, reaching out to media and events on behalf of the company, and defining our angles/story opportunities.

Requirements:

• A graduate with HND / BSc in Marketing or related field
• 3+ years of experience running social media campaigns and creating/sharing highly valuable content
• Someone with a passion for empowering people and content creator
• Confidence in executing cross channel marketing campaigns including email, social media, PPC, CPC, retargeting, and affiliate programs
• An enthusiastic and self-motivated nature, always looking for ways to improve
• Native-level fluency in English; other languages a plus!
• Working knowledge of Graphic Design tools (CorelDraw or Canva)
