Air Energi recruits for one of their clients: Cost Controller

The Cost Controller will be involved in the following tasks:

Produce the Forecast report and review monthly with budget holder to agree the forecast and confirm variance commentary

Consolidate the Forecast information for Drilling & Completions and feedback to the Cost Control Leader any changes to forecast.
Work closely with management in the evaluation of technical and commercial aspects of commitment proposals, giving appropriate advice on performance factors e.g. comparisons with other projects, in order to assist management in the selection and award of contracts.

The position will be worked on a 8-2 rotation.

What we are looking for:

Work closely with management in the evaluation of technical and commercial aspects of commitment proposals, giving appropriate advice on performance factors e.g. comparisons with other projects, in order to assist management in the selection and award of contracts.

Professional Experience: minimum 10 years significant depth of experience in the oil industry and/or cost management, particularly on Drilling operations.

Good understanding of the technical operations of operating assets within the oil and gas industry.

Excellent analytical skills and a sound knowledge of financial analysis techniques and economic measures.

Experience of budget preparation, cost control, AFE administration and planning within a large organisation.

Knowledge of Accounting and Reporting standards.
