Aldelia Nigeria – Our client, an Ultra-modern Operation company, involved in the production of garments, other textile items, printing on fabrics and other gift items is recruiting to fill the position below:

 

 

 

 

Job Title: General Manager
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Design strategy and set goals for growth
• Ensuring adequate staffing levels : identifying requirements and initiating requests with HR as required.
• Approaching a new project by meeting with Customer Service Associates and clients in order to understand the client’s vision, needs and requirements
• Researching material and labor costs, as well as project time frames in order to create a bid for the clients
• Identifying and selecting appropriate options for special printing processes.
• Recommending the best printers for the specific project.
• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Design strategy and set goals for growth
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
• Set policies and processes
• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Direct the employee assessment process
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a print manager and/or supervisor.
• Knowledge of duplicator offset press and Macintosh platform.
• Knowledge of Printing software: CorelDraw and PhotoShop.
• Proven experience as a Manager or similar executive role
• Experience in planning and budgeting
• Progressive experience working as a lead in business printing and production needs.
• Professional qualification in Project Management will be an added advantage.
• Ability to use Publisher, In-Design, Adobe Illustrator and other desktop publishing programs is an added advantage.
• Exhibit good knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Strategic planning and thinking abilities.
• Knowledge and experience with garment manufacturing, and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.
