Job Title: Nurse
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and providing safe general care to AA patients within the organization and in outpatient clinics as required.
- Administer medication, including IV medication, via the Seven Rights; document and communicate clinical findings.
- Work in collaboration with the healthcare team, implement and document individualized care plans incorporating age specific considerations, including discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
- Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden, adverse developments in patients.
- Follow patient safety-related policies, procedures and protocols.
- Identify and report/correct environmental conditions, medical errors and/or situations that may put a patient at undue risk in a timely manner.
- Encourage patients to actively participate in their own care by asking questions and reporting treatment or situations that they don’t understand or may not seem right.
- Work within laboratory and departmental policies.
- Provide counselling and promoting health education.
- Collect data for audit purposes and complying with regulatory requirements.
- Deliver quality healthcare services.
- Work effectively with individuals in other departments to meet patients’ needs.
- Travel to client offices, as needed.
- Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, reading current literature, attending in-services, meetings and workshops.
Requirements:
- Diploma or B.Sc in Nursing, Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Nurse/Nursing Assistant in a hospital or similar environment
