Business Development Manager – Logistics Safety Portfolio Position at Petrogas

Petrogas, the associated company of the Onstream Group, is looking for a motivated business development manager to lead the company’s logistics safety portfolio across the African market. The business development manager is responsible for technical sales of leading logistics safety products developed by Alcolock and Chalwyn. The business development manager will be responsible for building up and driving sales throughout the company markets in Nigeria, Mozambique, Gabon, Tanzania, Congo, and Angola.

Job Title: Business Development Manager – Logistics Safety Portfolio

Key responsibilities:

• Strategic and operational sales work, business plans, coordination and steering of sales strategy
• Promotion of company and sales throughout the regions
• Commercial and tender activities
• Keeping updated about the latest developments related to the product and keep abreast with the competitors’ products and their strategies
• Provision of technical support of the product portfolio (installation and troubleshooting)
• Reporting to Director Business Development and Technical Services

Job Requirements

• Proven track record of past success in a sales role
• Bachelors Degree (preferred but not required)
• Commercial and goal oriented mind set
• 5+ years industry experience with Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumental background
• Must be willing to travel 20+ days/month
• Computer Skills (MS Office, Excel, PPT and Word)
• Excellent customer service, client relations and multi-tasking skills
