Our client, based in Lagos, Nigeria, is in the process of opening a guest house, restaurant and supermarket along with an event management and delivery operation.

Job Title: Guest House Manager
Location: Lagos

Job Description

• We seek a hotel manager, charged with ongoing leadership of the hotel and its staff.
• The hotel manager is accountable for budgeting and financial management, planning, organizing and directing all hotel services, including front-office (reception, concierge, reservations), restaurant, food and beverage operations, as well as event management and housekeeping.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• A pleasant and friendly disposition, with a natural desire to serve;
• Strategic goal setting – meeting sales and profit targets
• Strategic thinker and decisive;
• Planning and organization of accommodation, catering and other hotel services;
• Business marketing and promotion;
• Staff recruitment, development and motivation;

• Handling suppliers and contractors;
• Supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations and furnishings;
• Ensuring effective security; and keeping property and services in good condition at all times;
