Job description include collecting and analysing facts (by interview, observation or investigation) about newsworthy events in the financial/business world, with strong focus on events as they play out in Africa’s emerging markets. Stories on. Mergers and acquisitions in Africa, stock market trends, investments, start-ups and new on African entreprenuers. Applicants should also possess the necessary skill sets for interview, investigation and observation. Report and write stories for the publication. Incumbents are responsible for the planning, writing and editing of news/contents for their various units.

Job/Person Specification

 BSC/HND Mass communication or any equivalent field.

 1-3 years work experience.

 High Network/Contact

 Good writing skills.

 Good command of English.

 Ability to motivate people.

 Ability to work without supervision.

 Good interviewing skills.

 Must be a good proof reader.

 Ability to work under pressure.

 Familiarity with business reporting stayle of Bloomberg and Reuters
