Job Description:

Participate in a daily permit coordination meeting where new permit applications would be reviewed, discussed and authorized or rejected by a management group consisting of construction contractor, sub-contractor, commissioning and operational key personnel.
Assist in implementation of the EGTL permit system for the commissioning and operational stages of the project
Serve as the focal point to provide a status of ongoing tasks as well as the condition of the plant and equipment within a “hand-over” area or system.
To liaise and discuss the technical requirements of an approved permit application with the relevant Facility Owner and other discipline permit specialist paying particular attention to identify any potential conflicting permits that may already be active or pending.

Bachelors Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Higher National Diploma with fully qualified Operations Training Certificate from Oil Company or Petrochemical facility. Candidates must have a minimum of Second Class Lower division for Bachelors degree and Upper credit for Diploma certificates.

Required Skills:

Excellent technical and analytical skills;
Good oral and written communication skills;
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of Software

Job Experience:

Minimum of five (5) years in refining or petrochemical facility with at least 2 years as Lead Operator with permit clearing experience.
