Due to our continued growth and customer demand we are currently recruiting for a qualified, interested and available Account Manager Tower Products: West Africa to be based in Lagos Nigeria

Reporting Structure:

The candidate will report to the Regional Sales Director. The candidate will be stationed in Lagos, Nigeria.

Position Summary:

This individual will be responsible for selling tower and related products in the West African market. Coordinate the sales and customer relationship process to meet assigned financial objectives, including achievement of product sales/solution sales goals. Travel required.

Essential Functions:

  • Executes the complete sales cycle, from generating sales leads, coordinating sales activities and required resources for solution development, negotiating and closing. Assesses key decision-makers needs and develops a plan of action to meet customer needs with Andrew products and services. Manages the on-going account relationships. Maintains account presence by providing value-added services and maintaining professional relationships with key customer personnel. Understands customers business, technology and product requirements and appropriately matches Andrew solutions to meet customer needs. Demonstrates significant expertise in assigned product lines and ability to explain technical issues. Favorably influences product selection in targeted accounts with appropriate sales messaging. Has a broad knowledge of the entire product line. Engages appropriate internal resources to support sales pursuits.
  • Supports and participates in team sales initiatives where applicable by gathering and communicating pertinent information for assigned accounts. Shares sales leads with sales colleagues for products that are assigned to other sales resources in the region/territory.
  • Assesses market opportunities and develops business plans to meet revenue objectives. Conducts territory analysis and planning to enable appropriate allocation of time to accounts and customers.
  • Performs revenue and demand forecasting, account planning, project planning and other related sales administrative tasks to grow assigned business profitability. Provides information and reports, as required, to inform management of sales progress and success.
  • Participates in trade shows, as assigned, to promote company products and to develop leads.Decision Making:

    The candidate should preferably have experience in the following:

  • Establish sales quotas for fiscal year planning;
  • Establishes sales strategies and specific account objectives;
  • Determine the best distribution alternatives for Andrew products.Specific Job Requirements:
  • Technical marketing lead for tower products in the West African market;
  • Building strong relationships with the key customers/channels to increase sales of tower products;
  • Pre-sales business development lead for all tower opportunities in the market;
  • Post-sale technical consultant for customer inquiries;
  • Responsible for pricing, quotations and taking the lead in formal RFQ or RFP bids.Required Qualification :
  • Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline; Engineering Degree preferred;
  • Five (5) years related sales experience;
  • Good technical knowledge about tower design/manufacturing and/or tower installation/erection/ maintenance;
  • Work experience in the industry or in a related business;
  • Superior professional presence and business acumen;
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills enabling teamwork and clear communication;
  • Competent in using computer applications;
  • Willing to localize in Nigeria; and
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.What is in it for you?
