Job Title: Classroom Teacher
Location: Okota, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description:

• Developing and providing safe and stimulating learning activities based on educational frameworks.
• Liaising with parents, careers and professionals such as speech therapists and health visitors.
• Monitoring and assessing children’s progress.
• Administer all student conduct and discipline and ensure enforcement of same and provide all required information as per student requirement. Maintain and update all files and records. Prepare reports and attend all class meetings and assist all special education teachers as per determine Individual Education Plans.
• Establish and enforce rules of behavior for children in their classrooms. Provide basic needs for children. Provide tools and resources for children to use and explore during learning and play activities. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children.
• Supervise and monitor the safety of children.
• Prepare and organize mealtimes and snacks for children.
• Help children keep good hygiene.
• Organize activities or implement a curriculum that allows children to learn about the world and explore their interests.

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification with 5 – 10 years work experience.

Salary:
N35,000 – N45,000 / month.
