Qualifications and Experience
A. PROFESSOR
The Professor is a Senior Academic Staff who is to provide administrative and academic leadership in the faculty

Qualifications

• A Ph.D degree in relevant academic discipline from a recognized University Evidence of scholarly publications in both local and international reputable learned journals
• Membership of relevant professional bodies
• Considerable knowledge and application of Information Technology
• Must have attained the rank of Professor at time of application.

Experience
Candidates applying for/he position of Professor, must have a minimum number of ten (10) years postdoctoral teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution and must also be specialist in core areas of departmental fields of study.

Candidates must possess demonstrable competence to provide academic leadership. Administrative experience ins tertiary institution witi bean added advantage.

Salary: CONUASS 7 (N4,580,349.00 – N6,020,163.00)

B. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
The Associate Professor is a Senior Academic Staff of a Faculty whose duty is to assist the Dean generally in the administration of the Faculty. He/She is to provide leadership, undertake research and participate in University / Professional / Community Services.

Qualifications

• A Ph.D degree in relevant academic discipline from a recognized University.
• Evidence of scholarly publications in both local and international reputable learned journals
• Membership of relevant professional bodies
• Appreciable knowledge and application of Information Technology

Experience
Candidates must have a minimum of eight (8) years post-doctoral research, teaching and administrative experience in a tertiary institution.

Salary: CONUASS 6 (N3,768,221.00 – N5,004,750.00)

C. SENIOR LECTURER
The Senior Lecturer is a Senior Academic Staff of a Faculty whose duties are similar to that of the Associate Professor above.

Qualifications
Same as those demanded of an Associate Professor

Experience
Candidates must have a minimum of six (6) years post-doctoral teaching, research and administrative experience in a tertiary institution.

Salary: CONUASS 5 (N3,091,505.00 – N4,455,506.00)

  • Salaries and Allowances attached to the various vacancies are the same with the approved Salary Scale for Federal Universities in Nigeria;
