Job Description:
- Our client is seeking to hire a competent, well networked, and intelligent Business & Operations Director to oversee the functions of its business operations, client engagements, and the management of the departments in the organization.
- The preferred talent for this position must have solid career experience in Marketing & Communications, Business Operations, Brand Management, and Client Retention.
- The role holder will be responsible for the supervision of the organization’s clients’ accounts, the design, development, and deployment of business strategies that focus on revenue generation, ensuring operational & regulatory compliance, and overseeing the implementation of optimal business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the workflow and the full function of the inter-departmental linkages
- Build and maintain a profitable business framework by working with other Heads of Units to deploy appropriate resources to achieve a high profitability ratio.
- Identify new business opportunities that will focus on revenue generation
- Develop efficient processes and procedures to guide excellent operations and service delivery.
- Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of business operations
- Provide collaborative efforts to team members and ensure strong synergy with all Heads of Units
- Provide well researched and professional advice for the organization and its clients
- Closely monitor project planning and project execution to ensure processes and procedures are duly followed.
- Provide support on Recruitment and Administration decisions and oversee the management of internal staff and vendor portfolio.
- Work closely with the Accounts department to optimize running costs and ensure minimum or zero cash flow issues are recorded.
- Coordinate the development of project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction
- Build and strategically manage relationships with the organization’s stakeholders, clients, and prospects.
Person Specification:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related disciplines from any recognized institution
- 7-10 years of experience as a Business and Operations executive (or in similar roles) and with at least 4 years spent in an executive management position.
- APCON Certification is highly preferred
- An MBA/M.SC., will be an added advantage.
