Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Production managers plan, coordinate and control manufacturing processes so that products are delivered on time and within budget
• As a production manager, you’ll make sure goods and services are produced safely, cost-effectively and on time and that they meet the required quality standards.
• The scope of the job depends on the nature of the production system. Many companies are involved in several types of production, adding to the complexity of the role. It’s likely that you will be responsible for both human and material resources.
• The job may also be referred to as operations manager.

Responsibilities
As a production manager, you’ll oversee the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations. You’ll need to:

• Plan and draw up a production schedule
• Decide on and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate
• Select equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance
• Set the quality standards
• Ensure that the production will be cost-effective by estimating costs and negotiating and agreeing on budgets with both clients and managers
• Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
• Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programmes
• Organise the repair of any damaged equipment
• Liaise with different departments, teams and companies, e.g. suppliers, managers, clients
• Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
• Ensure customer orders are completed on time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met
• work with managers to implement the company’s policies and goals
• Collate and analyse data, putting together production reports for both factory managers and customers
• Supervise and motivate a team of workers
• Review worker performance and identify training needs.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree, HND, NCE, OND qualification with 0-1 year work experience.

Salary
N45,000 – N75,000 Monthly.

 

 

Job Title: Biochemist
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• We are looking for a driven, knowledgeable Biochemist to assist our team in research and experiments in an effort to better understand how chemical processes affect life forms.
• The Biochemist will design and execute experiments, record and analyze data, and present or make recommendations based on findings.
• They may also supervise a team of researchers or assistants, design facilities or equipment, and work with software applications to compile and analyze information.
• You should have excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of scientific concepts, laboratory tools, and data recording.
• To succeed as a Biochemist, you should be detail-oriented and focused. You should be collaborative, organized, thorough, and willing to comply with all quality and safety controls.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with other department members to design and conduct experiments and record findings.
• Studying the functions, chemical processes, and composition of living organisms.
• Writing scholarly articles about findings and proposals to raise funds for research efforts.

• Preparing and refining chemical compounds for public or medical use.

Job Title: Food Technologist
Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Food technologists are responsible for the safe and efficient development, modification and manufacture of food products and processes.
• Food technologists plan the manufacturer of food and drink products and can work in a wide range of settings, including kitchens, factories, laboratories and offices. Consequently, specific responsibilities vary greatly but may include:
  • Generating new product ideas and recipes
  • Modifying and improving existing recipes
  • Designing processes and machinery for the production of recipes on a large scale
  • Liaising with marketing staff
  • Ensuring that strict hygiene food safety standards are met
  • Identifying and choosing products from suppliers
  • Monitoring the use of additives
  • Testing and examining samples
  • Writing reports.

Job Description

• Microbiologists use a wide range of analytical and scientific techniques to monitor and study microbes such as algae, bacteria, fungi and viruses.
• Microbiologists undertake laboratory analysis and monitoring of microbial cultures, samples and new drugs using specialist computer software and a range of identification methods and clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Planning and carrying out trials
• Tracking environmental microorganism development
• Growing microbe cultures
• Developing new pharmaceutical products, vaccines, medicines and compounds such as antiseptics
