Job Title: Clinical Education Specialist, CT

Role Summary

  • The Clinical Education Specialist (CES) will deliver clinical and operational expertise by providing excellent education and training support within a specific modality or product portfolio to clinical end-users.
  • These clinical experts will facilitate evidence-based practice and support the customer experience and commercial teams from pre-sale through post implementation by providing effective outcome-based education and training solutions.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop product, clinical, and software knowledge, skills, and competence within a specific modality. Correlates theoretical knowledge with clinical and product information to provide clinicians with the knowledge and the skills to obtain optimal performance from their GE Healthcare equipment
  • Provides pre-sale product clinical evaluations and/or educational sessions to potential customers
  • In partnership with customers, develop and administer clinical training to the end-user personnel aligned with sales order agreement (SOA) to deliver excellent clinical education to achieve high Net Promotor Scores (NPS)
  • Collaborate and coordinate the delivery of customer training with a targeted integrated account management approach including sales, project management, and other service organization teams in accordance with the SOA/terms and conditions
  • Drive realization of revenue thru execution of on-site or remote clinical education delivery
  • Produce comprehensive, consistent and timely completion of documentation requirements pre-through post training
  • Provide ongoing post-installation training and support as needed. Support existing customers with additional training as needed or as product enhancements are launched that require additional training or implementation

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Willingness to travel extensively 80+% (4-5 days per week including some weekends) within US and Canada (USCAN) via multiple modes of transportation (car, air travel, train etc.) as necessary
  • To the extent you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE owned/leased, privately owned/leased or rental vehicle for company business, candidate must maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

Job Title: Project Engineering Manager

Role Summary

  • Power Services Engineering is looking for a Project Engineering Manager (PEM) with proven track record and experience in power generation plant technologies, commissioning, or O&M that is seeking a challenging and rewarding career path in the Power Services project engineering team in the AIM region with prime focus on projects in Africa
  • This position spans a wide range of OEM and oOEM technologies across combined cycle, gas power plants requiring high level of customer interaction.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Represent as the technical focal point for projects thru coordination and planning all aspects of assessing, proposing, and technical execution of plant rehab and upgrade opportunities by leveraging the regional and global teams at every step of the process
  • Work with regional/global application teams in understanding all aspects of the technical proposals that include complex, extended scope (BOP) and flange-to-flange upgrades & CM&Us
  • Provide technical management throughout the execution process and work closely with fulfillment teams in assuring a smooth handover and execution with mitigated risk plans
  • Work closely with P&L project leaders as well as fulfillment PMO teams as the engineering liaison throughout the implementation phase and be the technical point of contact for duration of the project
  • Embrace and drive a culture of horizontal thinking and execution by working in a boundaryless fashion and fostering the early detection of quality issues and risks as well as promoting lean processes that drive fulfillment excellence
  • Responsible for all project engineering deliverables in accordance with customer contract including deviation requests
  • Responsible for client communication on all engineering-related matters including engineering transmittals
  • Provide technical guidance to project engineering team in resolution of engineering issues and assistance to site manager / construction manager /commissioning manager in reviewing engineering issues and other concerns
  • Attend customer meetings involving engineering to resolve technical issues and develop project weekly and monthly comprehensive reports
  • Resolution and handling of contract issues with customer and subcontractors in accordance with contract
  • Update Project Deliverable List (PDL) on regular basis
  • Ensure that documents’ quality is assured and transmittals to customer are complying with contractual requirements
  • Control of management of engineering change and contractual variations in compliance with contract
  • Participate in construction and customer meetings as required by the project
  • Manage the engineering schedule and provide inputs for MTS to the Project Director
  • Responsible for engineering budget and cost including productivity improvements
  • Lead regular meetings with engineering staff and subcontractor

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science or equivalent knowledge or work experience
  • At least 8 years of experience in an engineering or technology role
  • At least 5 years’ experience in project management of medium to large scale industrial projects
  • Extensive knowledge of general turbomachinery and power plant building blocks including balance of plant
  • Experience with power plant design and upgrades, including systems analysis and testing
  • Experience in successfully communicating with senior leaders and customers, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to lead in a matrix organization with regional and global footprint
  • Ability to identify and rectify gaps that can pose a risk to the profitability and success of the project
  • Ability and aptitude for detailed oriented tasks
  • Experience in working with EPC
  • High technical skills mixed with strong business acumen and influencing skills to lead and execute in high risk projects
  • Mobility within AIM region is a must; It could reach to a 50% travel
