Genesis Cinemas is the leading cinema chain of West Africa with 12 locations, 47 screens and over 4,700 seats in opeartion across Nigeria. The Genesis Cinemas Brand and company was launched into the Nigerian market in the year 2008, in Lagos. By the month of December 2011, the company had served over 15 million customers. Genesis Cinemas, has cinemas located in Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Warri, Owerri, Abuja and Asaba. Our strategy to continue to grow in all major cities of the country will have us opening in more locations in the years to come.

We are a major brand in the strategic Lagos market, with our current Lekki location situated at the most popular shopping mall in the country with over 800 parking spaces, housing some of the most prestigious Nigerian and international retail brands. Genesis Cinemas Lagos was the first cinema in West Africa to show a 3D movie (Green Hornet) in February, 2011. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

 

 

 

Job Title: Team Member
Location: Gateway, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

  • Selling of box office tickets and concession items
  • Achieve 100% sales in concession and box office
  • Responding to queries, reservations, and sales
  • Monitor and Maintain Cash Flow, thereby ensuring that there are no shortages
  • Participating in meetings as requested by the Business Manager/Assistant Business Manager
  • Attend and participate in training sessions as required by the Business Manager and HR
  • Ensure the timely communication of stock level to the Team Supervisor/Team Lead to avoid under stocking and over stocking.
  • Maintain zero loss of all items and ensure proper stock reconciliation.
  • Provide update on requestions filled out and ensure 100% compliance and strict adherence to following approved SOPs.
  • Show of professional behavior in all dealings, excellent job ownership, brand loyalty and commitment to assigned task
  • Achieve 95% resolution of customer complaints within 48 hours – Review weekly by checklist method
  • Punctuality – timeliness to work on daily basis.

Experience and Qualification:

  • Minimum of S.S.C.E / N.E.C.O / G.C.E
  • 1 – 2 years work experience in a hospitality, retail or entertainment industry
  • Customer service skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong work ethics
  • Team working skills.

Salary: N38,000 Monthly.
