Job Title: Inventory Manager
Location: Owerri, Imo
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing both overstock and stockouts.
• Manage and monitor inventory data, ensuring accuracy and reliability of inventory records.
• Analyze inventory trends and patterns to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
• Implement and manage inventory control systems, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and inventory tracking.
• Work closely with procurement, sales, and operations teams to ensure smooth inventory flow and efficient order fulfillment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods.
• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize inventory processes and systems.
• Monitor and control inventory costs, including storage, handling, and obsolescence.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and trends in inventory management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Skills:

• Proven track record of success in managing inventory levels, controlling costs, and improving efficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in inventory management software and systems.
