Job Description
- We seek a highly qualifiedand experienced Technical Drawing Teacher to join our faculty.
- As a Technical Drawing Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students the principles and techniques of technical drawing, including sketching, drafting, and design.
- You will also be expected to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide individualized support to students.
Responsibilities
- Teach technical drawing courses to students in secondary school
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their work
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation
- Develop and maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in technical drawing education
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Drawing, Basic Technology, or a related field
- Teaching/Education certification
Experience:
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in technical drawing or a related field
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation
- Experience with assessment and evaluation of student progress
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

Skills:
- Teaching certification or licensure in Technical Drawing or a related field
- Strong knowledge of technical drawing principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and other technical drawing tools
