We are recruiting to fill the positions below:

Job Title: HR and Administration Associate
Location: Lagos
The Role

  • We are looking for an Associate to join our HR team in Africa.
  • The HR and Administration Associate will work closely with the HR team based in Lagos to ensure the organisation has adequate capacity to build new business units and expand existing operations in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment of staff across a range of professional levels within defined Service Level Agreements and budgets.
  • On-boarding and induction of new employees
  • Working with the Senior HR Associate to drive a strong performance culture in Nigeria
  • Handling employee grievances amicably and within reasonable timelines
  • Ensuring HR policies are up to date and accessible to all staff
  • Attending disciplinary hearings and ensuring disciplinary procedures are followed in line with company policy and relevant legislation
  • Ensuring privacy of employee data and maintain up to date personnel files
  • Actively participating in HR projects aimed towards delivering the HR agenda
  • Delivering excellent information through weekly and/or monthly HR reports
  • Office administration- Oversee administrative functions to ensure seamless operation of a busy office.

Requirements
The ideal candidate:

  • Has 1-2 years of HR generalist experience, ideally with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.

Job Title: Customer Loyalty Manager
Location: 
Lagos, Nigeria (with 70-80% of time spent in field)
Reporting to: 
PayGo Go-to-Market Leader

Job Description

  • The Customer Loyalty Manager will lead the efforts and processes related to collections of our EasyBuy products in the field.
  • He/She will advise and give suggestions on how to improve customer payments and satisfaction whilst matching user expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attempting repossession of units with the support of field staff
  • Collecting information about repossessions and defaulting clients and sharing reports with the team
  • Designing and keeping track of operational improvements necessary for ensuring better repayments and customer satisfaction
  • Achieving targets set for repossessions
  • Establishing essential communication and reporting structure with field staff and head office
  • Maintaining positive and constructive communication with clients irrespective of their payment status

Requirements
The ideal candidate:

  • Has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Community Development, Communication, Credit Risk Management or related fields
  • Has at least 4 years’ relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Is clear and straight to the point when communicating in both written and spoken English
  • Has clear thinking and problem solving ability
  • Pays attention to detail
  • Has excellent issue-tracking and resolution skills

Job Title: Business Development Manager, Nigeria
Location: Lagos
Reporting to: Africa Business Development Lead
The Role

  • We are looking for a well networked individual with a knack for identifying, building, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.
  • As the driving force behind generating new sales leads and contacts, the business development manager will become a key part of Greenlight Planet’s team responsible for growing our business across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify trendsetter ideas- tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
  • Propose potential business deals and explore opportunities.
  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
  • Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partner needs and goals.
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Enhance the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Deliver annual revenue and new business objectives
  • Co-ordinate with head office for all technical, commercial, administrative and legal assistance.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has a university degree and at least 4-6 years of sales and business development experience in Nigeria.
  • Has a strong entrepreneurial streak, is innovative and has experience building market relevant sales and distribution models for new brands and/or product categories
  • Has a proven track record of developing new markets and acquiring new high value prospects
  • Is entrepreneurial and excited about the opportunity to creatively build effective, non-traditional sales channels in a nascent product category
  • Is fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Is passionate about his/her work and driven by Greenlight’s social mission of bringing innovative, renewable energy and life-enhancing products to African markets
  • Is comfortable working independently and remotely in a lean environment
  • Likes getting hands on to figure out how to grow a high-potential business
  • Is a natural people-person, one that thrives off of building strong relationships both within the organization and externally
  • Is willing to spend 40-50% of his/her time on the road interacting with partners, resellers and customers

 

Job Title: Business Development Manager, West and Central Africa
Location: Lagos or Dakar
Reporting to: Africa Business Development Lead

The Role

Key Responsibilities for the role include:

Job Title: Accounts Associate
Location: Lagos
Reporting to: Associate Finance Manager, Nigeria
The Role

  • The Accounts Associate will be responsible for the AP and AR Functions of Greenlight Planet Sun King Nigeria Limited.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconciliation of processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
  • Receiving and processing all Purchase Orders, Invoices, Expense Forms, and request for payments.
  • Performing daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of Cash, Bank and Mobile Money Accounts.
  • Confirmation of Customer Receipts and follow up on Customer Accounts that are overdue.
  • Maintaining filing systems of all accounting and finance documents and vouchers in a manner which ensures ease in retrieval and reference.
  • Charging expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
  • Scheduling and preparing payments on the payment tracker.
  • Reconciliation and adjustment of accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions and subsequent matching of the same.
  • Verifying vendor and customer Accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • Disbursing petty cash by recording entry; and verifying documentation.
  • Assisting in the filing of VAT Returns as well as reconciliation of the same.

Requirements

  • Has a Degree in Finance, Accounting or other related qualification from a recognised institution
  • Has 2-3 years’ Accounts Payable or General Accounting Experience
  • Must be Computer literate; proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have strong Analytical and Communication skills
  • Is a team player and proactive to learn.
  • Must be honest and of high integrity.
  • Must be able to work under pressure with strict deadlines and with minimal or no supervision.
  • Is highly proficient in Data Entry and Management.
  • Is fluent in both written and spoken English language
  • Is flexible and willing to stretch and achieve over and above base expectations.
