Job Title: Meter Standards and Installations Officer
Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description

• To act as a primary field contact in coordinating the installation, testing and maintenance of NMD meters and metering related equipment, ensuring the integrity of operations within the Business Hub.

Job Details

• To act as a primary field contact in coordinating the installation, testing and maintenance of NMD meters and metering related equipment, ensuring the integrity of operations within the Business Hub.

Job Responsibilities

• Install and Inspect new meters to ensure proper working order within the Business Hub
• Conduct a daily audit of energy meters to determine compliance with standard requirements.
• Conducts pre-commissioning test for new and in-service meter accuracy
• Assists in the implementation of Metering Services processes within the Business Hub, identify and recommends enhancement in the process.
• Inspect service entrance equipment for correct applications, proper wiring, grounding, equipment configuration, and compliance with company requirement
• Engages in the installation of energy meters within the Business Hub
• Supervises contractors on Meter deployment and installation, compile the daily report for Management Information System

Competence:

• Knowledge or ability to quickly learn and apply Technical Standards relating to metering and industry standards.

Qualifications and Requirements
Educational Qualification:

• A Bachelor’s Degree, HND in Engineering field

Professional Qualification:

• Possession of at least one of the following certifications is an added advantage:  COREN, NSE, MNIM.

Desired Experience:

• At least 3 years of combined experience in meter installation
