JOB TITLE: SENIOR ESTATE SURVEYOR

REFERENCE: SES/CP/13/10

DEPARTMENT: ESTATE & PROPERTY

STATUS: PARMANENT

OVERALL PURPOSE
Will be responsible for the profitable management of Company’s diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties.

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage existing tenancy agreements, ensuring that company and tenants are fulfilling their obligations, including conducting annual inspections where necessary.
Ensure that rents are paid and debts collected, robustly resolving any issues and conduct Rent Reviews in line with market practice and the contractual conditions of the tenancy agreements.
Resolve any Landlord and Tenant issues, taking responsibility for the issue and communicating clearly to all parties concerned.
Generate and meet income targets, maximizing income opportunities.
Source and assess new tenants as required, agreeing and completing tenancy agreements.
Manage the annual budget.
Obtain all necessary licenses and permissions.

REPORT TO: GENERAL MANAGER, CHANCELLOR PROPERTIES

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
Good grounding in contractual issues.
Able to juggle multiple priorities.
Management of others including external contractors and consultants.
Budget management.

AGE REQUIREMENT
Maximum of 40 years of age

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
A good first degree or its equivalent from a recognized Institution in Estate Management.
Professional Qualification is very desirable.
Minimum of ten (10) years post qualification experience, 5 of which must have been spent at senior level.
