IFES is recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Position: Program Officer

Location: Abuja

Description

• Responsible for assisting in organizing and coordinating program activities, contributing to reports, and performing other programmatic duties as required.
• Assist in the development of the program narrative reports.
• Take minutes of program meetings.
• Serve as rapporteur for program events, workshops and conferences.
• Assist in the preparation and organization of events, workshops and conferences.
• Assist in the collection of data for monitoring and evaluation activities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors Degree in governance, development or any social sciences.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in program management preferably on a democracy and governance project.
  Training experience including material development, design and implementation of training activities.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft.
• Good writing skills.
