Job Title: Bakery Sales Personnel
Location: Lagos

Summary

  • The Bakery Sales Personnel will be primarily responsible for establishing direct interaction with retail customers such as Store Managers, receiving personnel and other associates, developing strong relationships with them and proactively resolving problems and increase sales.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain appropriate product levels in the bread aisle and display locations. throughout the account, promoting growth.
  • Responsible for route operational activity such as ordering and distribution, promotional activity and meeting customer expectations.
  • Delivering and selling to established accounts.
  • Taking product from company vehicle into stores, restaurants, etc.
  • Ensure that product distribution is accomplished to customer satisfaction in agreement with any contract terms and requirements.
  • Preplanning specific orders for each customer.
  • Analyse account sales data to achieve optimal distribution of product to achieve sales goals and maximize freshness and related expenses.
  • Receive cash and other payments form customers.
  • Custodianship of sales proceeds and remittance of same to finance department.
  • Solicit new business within the route territory.
  • Meet or exceed budgeted objectives.

Education and Qualification

  • Minimum of HND.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.

Skills:

  • Good business acumen.
  • Excellent relationship building and people management skills.

 

Job Title: Reconciliation Officer
Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Reconciliation Officer will be primarily responsible for inventory and sales reconciliation as well as measuring and managing the transactions received to the company by customers.

Responsibilities

  • Reconciling production data with raw material input data
  • General ledger/ sales reconciliation.
  • Accounts reconciliation such as banks, inventory control, clearing, billings.
  • Performing daily financial transactions such as verifying, calculating and posting sales data.
  • Reconcile physical movements of goods/wares in and out of the company premises/warehouse and send reports to the Management.
  • Be part of the Company’s Internal Control Team
  • Perform auditing and investigations
  • Generating weekly and monthly reports.
  • Maintain appropriate files documentation and data.
  • Maintain regular contacts with customers.
  • Ensure follow-up action as and when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualification

  • Minimum of B.Sc in Accounting, Finance or numerical field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the reconciliations space.
  • Proven experience reconciling accounting figures and financial records.

Skills:

  • Ability to identify errors.
  • Strong maths and advanced computer software skills including excel and accounting packages.
  • Ability to work with deadlines.
  • High level of attention to details.
  • Team player with the ability to work with multiple parties.

 

Job Title: Legal Officer
Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Legal Officer will be primarily responsible for providing advice, guidance and representing clients in court. This position can encompass a wide variety of roles.

Responsibilities

  • Give legal advice to clients after studying their cases.
  • Conduct meeting with clients in order to understand the details of their case.
  • Stay updated with the information related to laws and legal processes.
  • Give the company detailed explanation of legal issues that may arise due to certain reasons.
  • Advise the company’s management on the ways to avoid legal issues from arising.
  • Give advice on any litigation that may impact the trust.
  • Offer legal interpretation service to the company’s management on different factors on the present laws and regulatory needs.
  • Consult various sources and prepare policy papers.
  • Review the legal matters of the company and work upon managing them efficiently.
  • Help clients in preparing legal documents related to their case.
  • Relate with lawyers and other law personnel to discuss about cases.
  • Prepare various legal reports on the cases handled.

Education and Qualification

  • Minimum of LLB.
  • Minimum of 1 year post call experience.

Skills:

  • Good analytical skills – candidates must be highly analytical and able to examine the facts related to cases and contracts in order to develop a compelling legal argument in both criminal and civil matters.
  • Good judgement and reasoning skills – this role requires sound judgment and exceptional reasoning skills. Candidates need to examine the evidence at hand and make decisions related to legal strategies and options.
  • Research skills – while preparing for a case or providing advice, candidates frequently need to conduct extensive research to learn about related cases and previous judgments that may have a bearing on the case at hand.
  • Excellent communication skills – Candidate needs to effectively communicate both verbally (with clients, judges, or juries) and in written documents (such as legal summaries and statements).

 

Job Title: Invent Academy Instructor (Bakery)
Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are currently recruiting for the role of an Academy instructor for the Bakery Academy arm of the company.

Summary

  • The Academy Instructor will be primarily responsible for developing course contents, teaching (theory and practical), supervising student’s practical, whilst working with the Bakery Product Development Manager to develop new bakery products.

Responsibilities

  • Teach students according to course curriculum.
  • Provide professional guidance to students.
  • Develop creative instructional methods to engage students in learning process.
  • Develop instruction materials and handouts for students.
  • Develop daily lesson and instruction plans to meet course competency.
  • Prepare course assignment, tests and practical to improve student’s performance.
  • Maintain student’s attendance and grade reports and report same to Bakery Product Development Manager.
  • Evaluate each student’s performance and provide feedback appropriately.
  • Ensure that students follow disciplinary and behavioural standards of a bakery.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications

  • Minimum of a B.Sc/HND in any discipline
  • Certification in bakery/pastry program is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Applicants must be resident within Lekki/Ajah axis.

Skills:

  • Great organisation and leadership skills.
  • Attention to details and creativity.
  • In depth knowledge of sanitation principles and baking techniques.
