Job Title: Head, Compliance
Job Description
Our client, a top-notch insurance company, requires the services of an experienced professional in the position of Head, Compliance who will be responsible for ensuring adherence to legal standards and in-house policies, responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as provide guidance on compliance matters.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
  • Assess the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control
  • Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate
  • Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
  • Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
  • Draft, modify and implement company policies

Qualifications/Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in law, finance, business administration or related field
  • Post-graduate/ professional qualification will be an added advantage.
  • CIIN certification is compulsory
  • Minimum of ten (10) years relevant work experience, with at least four (4) years in a
  • Senior management position.
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations



Job Title: Head, Retail Sales, Life Business
Job Description
Our client, a reputable insurance company, seeks to hire the services of a strategic professional, experienced in the creation and execution of sales strategy, as well as quality experience in motivating sales team to drive sales and meet defined Organizational targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute winning business strategies to ensure that financial targets & other deliverables are met in the Retail Sales Teams.
  • Ensure timely preparation of reports and business plans as the need arises.
  • Identifying opportunities for developing new business channels
  • Organise market storms/sales promotional activities
  • Providing strong leadership in the retail channels through mentoring and coaching of subordinates.
  • Ensure that production from all retail business channels are collated on weekly basis and advised to Executive Management

Qualifications/Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Marketing or related discipline.
  • Post-graduate/ professional qualification will be an added advantage.
  • CIIN certification is compulsory
