We are recruiting to fill the position of:

1. Job Title: Art Director/ Illustrator
Location: 
Lagos
Candidate Job Description

  • Working closely with the strategist/copywriter to generate creative ideas and concepts to fulfil the client’s brief;
  • Responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact
  • Use of innovations to redefine a designed brief within the constraints of cost and time
  • Producing sketches or ‘storyboards’ (television) or ‘roughs’ or ‘scamps’ (print) to communicate ideas to the client;
  • Gaining an understanding of the target audience and business that the advert is aimed at;
  • Pitching ideas to clients;
  • Briefing other members of the creative team;
  • Working in editing suites to oversee the finished product;
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.

Candidate Qualification and Requirements

  • Applicants should possess at least HND, BSc or other qualifications in related course or field. Professional Certification in Art direction and strategy is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience within Advert/media industry
  • Must possess a strong sense of concept development, in addition to communication, collaboration, research, problem-solving and presentation skills.
  • Must be proficient with Corel draw, Adobe Creative Suite applications and 3D software programs, and understand marketing and consumer tastes.
  • Web design skills are an added advantage.
  • Must be able to work with elements such as shape, colour, graphics and typography to create packaging that is unique, functional and appealing to customers.
  • Must be able to Illustrate and be proficient with Corel draw, Adobe Creative Suite applications and 3D software programs, and understand marketing and consumer tastes.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Proficiency: Corel draw, Adobe Creative Suite applications & 3D software programs
  • Age Range: 25yrs – 40yrs

1.8 Million – 2.0 Million.

 

2. Job Title: Brand Strategist/ Copy Writer
Location:
 Ikeja, Lagos
Job Description

  • Liaising with clients and interpreting their briefs to the creative team;
  • Find strategic ways to further enhance the branding of a product or service, as well as develop a marketing plan through analysis of current market data and trends.
  • Developing creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with the creative team;
  • Writing and develop catchy, clear, persuasive, original copy that sells every client’s products or services.
  • Presenting ideas to colleagues and clients;
  • Use big picture thinking, storytelling, insights, criteria development tools and synthesis in the development of agreed-upon end-goals.
  • Familiarising yourselves with our clients’ products and services, the target audience and their competitors’ activities;
  • Proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar;
  • Amending, revising or redeveloping adverts or campaigns in response to feedback from the creative team, account team or clients;
  • Monitoring and overseeing the effectiveness of advertising campaigns through the production stage to completion, updating and amending campaigns according to feedback
  • Working on several campaigns at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines;
  • Casting actors for TV and radio work and listening to voice tapes;
  • Keeping up to date with popular culture and trends;
  • Writing reports.
  • Contribute ideas for new business and current clients’ ad strategies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputable university
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience within media industry
  • Excellent self-motivation and adaptability
  • Commercial awareness and good team working skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • IT proficiency and strong command of the English language with an eye for spelling and grammar errors.
  • Creativity and ability to produce innovatively original ideas
  • Professional Certification in concept, copywriting, art direction and strategy is an added advantage.
  • Age range: 30yrs – 40yrs
  • 3 years in Agency work experience.
  • Gender:  Male or Female.

Remuneration
Salary Range: 1.2 Million -1.5 Million.
