Primary duties:
– Deliver new business as per targets.
– Manage the sales process and report progress per cycle.
– Understand the assigned territory and working with Solution Managers, Marketing and Business Partners to develop    plans to create leads & opportunities.
– Ensure accurate customer & contact information maintenance within the company’s CRM databases.
– Participation in lead generation events and processes.
– Qualify leads and assess opportunities, applying engagement models and developing plans to execute a successful   sales cycle. Lead the VAT in execution of the plan
– Assemble, brief and lead the Virtual Account team throughout the sales cycle.
– Liaison with and leadership of, where applicable, Solution Managers, CSCs and Support personnel as part of the     VAT
– Provides prompt, efficient handling of a customer/account query or problem.

– Tertiary qualification in a sales/marketing/business
– Minimum 3 years experience in sales – new business of SAP products.
– Software sales experience and worked with mainstream business software.
– Must actively and effectively participate in the sales process.

– Knowledge of SAP sales methodologies, key account management methods and familiar with the SAP organisation, mission, policies, objectives and strategies.

– Must have a strategic understanding of business.
