Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Officer
Location: Lagos, Nigeria (On-site)
Job type: Full-time

About the Job:

• We are looking for a “Senior QA Officer” to take an active part in our daily Platform Development.

Responsibilities:
What the role involves:

• Test and verify Kwik’s mobile and web applications and sub-systems
• Develop test design of user scenarios, test cases and checklists
• Prepare test environments, execute manual functional testing, report and process defects in a cloud-based environment integrating with various third tier solutions (Payment Gateways, CRM), Providing efficient reports and ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Understand and analyze the product requirements and communicate with product management teams
• Troubleshoot quality issues and modify test procedures for each product release
• Analyzing customers’ issues and investigate their root causes and participate in technical discussions with product team and Technical Team
• Gather required information/documents from various sources and create test scenarios
• Suggest improvement areas

Requirements:
Who we are looking for:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a startup or software company, experience in Logistics and eCommerce sector is a plus
• Basic knowledge of Quality Assurance theory: principles, methodologies, and techniques
• Good knowledge of test methodology, understanding of software development lifecycle, good understanding of Agile methodology
• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities fueled by an analytical mindset, ability to solve complex logical puzzles
• Detail oriented, efficient, and organized person
• Multi-tasking
• Strong Interpersonal relations
• Team player with a sense of responsibility and accountability, self-motivated with a great passion for learning new areas
• Strong written and spoken English.
