We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Co-operative Business Manager

Job Description

  • Implement business strategies, plans and procedures
  • Oversee daily operations of the cooperative
  • Generate diversified and sustainable revenue base for its stakeholders
  • Develop and manage business opportunities for the cooperative
  • Manage loan and investment portfolio of cooperative
  • Liaise with the Financial Secretary to ensure availability of monthly financial reports to stakeholders
  • Manage the Online Mart for monthly grocery shopping
  • Manage relationships with members, partners, vendors and other stakeholders
  • Ensure timely collection of receivables.
  • Ensure timely remittance of payables
  • Ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of all customer complaints/issues

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline.
  • 3- 5 years of relevant work experience in Managing a Cooperative
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office package
  • Knowledge of Financial Management is an added advantage
  • Candidate must be willing to travel
