Job Title: Brand Communication Manager
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities:
- Developing, executing, managing, and measuring the effectiveness of the communication plan
- Increasing awareness of the category/product line in an effective manner
- Executing the brand communications strategy across offline and digital channels. Supervise the quality of creatives and content for social media.
- Developing a media relations plan, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media
- Managing media inquiries and interview requests
- Determine strategic communications campaigns that will help further organizational goals
- Create internal communications protocols and initiatives that will foster employee morel
- Monitoring market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and make recommendations regarding the communication strategy
- Preparing monthly PR & Content plan and a monthly status update to track plan adherence
- Represent the organization at events and press conferences
- Reach out to influencers, media, and beyond to arrange story placement
- Liaise with regulatory / law enforcement authorities to ensure smooth on ground execution
Requirements:
- BSc / BA in Business, Marketing or any related field relations.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
