Job Title: Boiler Operator
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview:

• To operate boilers and support utilities to produce steam at required quantity and quality for producing Noodles in the factory.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Check operating parameters of the boilers, air compressors and boiler water, water treatment plant to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Document level of water and fuel usage to keep track of daily consumption.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to reduce downtime in the boiler operations.
• Monitor the operation of the boiler to identify air or steam leakages and rectify promptly.
• Take responsibility for personal safety and that of others when carrying out any assignment.
• Use correct personal protective equipment (PPE) and obey all safety rules as it affects every task to be done from time to time.

Qualifications:

Education level:

• Technical Certificate in science related courses

Experience:

• 1 – 2 years in a related industry

Specific Skills:

• Good Troubleshooting skill
• Good communication skill.
