Maersk Nigeria is recruiting for Commercial Sales Assistant CIS Nig. – Container Inland Services (CIS), Apapa, Lagos, Nigeria
Job Overview:
• Assist in front line sales strategies defined by Commercial Department.
• Marketing of container sales activity for cluster.
• Monthly sale activity report.
• Ensure products/services rates are in line with market.
• Liaising with BNN and TOGO for Container sales activities.
• Update website with new products and services
• Sales budgets and Targets
Key responsibilities:
• Achieve sales Targets against budget
• Innovatively assist in designing/implementing approaches to meet with sales strategies.
• Monitor and closely follow up on Proposals and invoices sent.
• Take initiatives in Customer services,ML,OPS,CIS staff and market at large to improve sales results.
Sales efficiency:
• Maintain the relevance of customer profiles in CIS customer data file at all times(in this case update CRM regularly)
• Ensure that Management is fully informed of all activities/task and share all relevant information pertaining to competition and customers
• Ensure finance related matters are attended timely monies collected at all times.
Skills required:
• Strong business,customer and market understanding Skills
• Understand the market and customer drivers.
• Decisive and result oriented learn on the Job
• Think of how best to generate profit for CIS NGA.
• Analytical skills
• Understand pricing processes and strategies.
• Drive sales efficiency and effectiveness
• Set clear target and follow up
• Previous experience in sales & Marketing an advantage
• Microsoft excel skills
• Ability to work under pressure
