adexenAdexen is recruiting for their client, a leader in Electronics, Telecommunications & Services business. They are looking for a GTM Market Solutions Manager for their expanding operations in West Africa. This position is based in Lagos

Job description:

At the beginning of his assignment the GTM Solutions Manager will be trained in Europe to the GTM methodology and best practices by the CGTMO Team. The GTM Solutions Manager will report directly to the Subsidiary President with a dotted line into the Regional GTM organization.


Analytical skills

* Ability to integrate business knowledge and analytical insights to develop customized best practice recommendations

* Understand and perform financial analysis

* Determine analysis required to recommend GTM decision making (e.g., how to structure a problem, collect relevant data, analyze insights and present results)

* Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

* Able to be a center of excellence for best practices

* Ability to work independently

Consulting Skills

* Proven project management skills

* Develop clear fact-based recommendations and implementations in a complex business environment

* Must be able to motivate, develop and direct people to ensure all are empowered and confident and committed to GTM implementation in the subsidiary

GTM Implementation

* Full responsibility and accountability for driving and managing the GTM implementation in the subsidiary (all countries, all modules, all functional areas)

* Train/Coach subsidiary customers on GTM best practices (extended to full module implementation at later stage)

* Conduct detailed analysis to support the GTM roll-out (all functional areas)

* Ensure sustainability after GTM implementation via follow up, support and training

Best Practices Expertise

* Responsible for influencing the customization and development of existing or new content modules

* Learn, share and drive best practices with Regional GTM team

* Responsible for driving customized GTM financial and analytical models

Monitor and Evaluate GTM Progress in the Subsidiary

* Consolidate and report on GTM progress in the subsidiary

* Build and maintain a monthly reporting system on GTM performance in the subsidiary


  • Business degree from highly regarded university
  • 7+ years of work experience, preferably with a local distributor/customer (FMCG, consumer electronics, home appliances)
  • Detailed understanding of the business issues in the area covered by the subsidiary (knowledge of the channels, experience as marketing manager, business manager or consultant)
  • Demonstrated professional and academic success
  • Demonstrated capability to drive change across an organization
  • Advanced writing, collaborating and communication skills
  • Able to interact and persuade individuals levels senior to him/her
  • Capable of driving change in a matrix organization
  • Must be able to act as a coach, trainer and teacher
  • Great networking skills
  • English is required
