Job Title: Product Design Engineer
Location: Lagos

About the Job:

• We are seeking an experienced, data-driven & highly technical product management professional with an extensive background in building solutions for small businesses including payments and wallets.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the product vision and plan the roadmap for driving unassisted orders and self-services at Maxibuy.
• Perform in-depth analyses of user cohorts in terms of key commercial metrics and user’s attributes to guide roadmap decisions.
• Drive design, prototyping, testing and solution development of key features to attract & retain more users.
• Run frequent field trips and in-person user research to deepen your understanding of the target persona and their most pressing needs.
• Lead sprint execution in collaboration with engineering management.
• Communicate, coordinate & collaborate with technology stakeholders.
• Plan and orchestrate feature releases in collaboration with Marketing.
• Measure & report success on implementations.
• Resolve support requests on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in designing & implementing software for:

• Product / category search & discovery
• Shopping cart & checkout design
• Mobile money payments
• Returns management
• Order tracking experience
